The Delaware Economic Development Office (DEDO) Workforce Center of Excellence fulfills the need to continuously develop a strong workforce in Delaware. This is our contribution to a strong economic environment in the State.

Our work is a collaborative effort with Delaware businesses, business and trade organizations, and trainers and educators.

We've Got the Resources You Need

Thinking about a training program to enhance employee skills? Don't get started without the experience and resources we can provide. We've got extensive information and resources to help you recognize the most impact from your investment.

Workforce Center representatives are skilled in supporting the creation of training initiatives that work for your business and for the State--to create a strong Delaware workforce.

The collaborative workforce investment provided by:

  • DEDO - up to 1/2 cost of training, max $100,000
  • Business - 1/2 cost of training (minimum), can be in-kind

Workforce investment eligibility requirements:

  • Entry-level through 1st line supervisors
  • Full-time, permanent jobs, $7/hour minimum
  • Current of potential Delaware employees
