The Workforce Development Section of the Delaware Economic Development Office (DEDO) coordinates and funds employment and training activities that help employers raise productivity and lower employee turnover rates while saving time and money. The qualifying application allows us to determine if your company is eligible for DEDO's funding assistance. Our just-in-time training approach means you can contact us year round for assistance.

Application Procedures

1. The Qualifying Application must be completed initially to determine your company's eligibility. You are encouraged to contact the Workforce Development Section at (302) 672-6830 should you have any questions

2. After the form has been reviewed and within 7 working days:

A. If your company does qualify, a representative will contact you with a Supplemental Application Form to continue the process.
B. If your company does not qualify or funds are not available, a denial letter will be sent with an explanation.

3. The Delaware Economic Development Office maintains sole authority in the award process. A completed application does not assure funding approval.
