Manufacturing Earnings Compared To Other States
Delaware's higher manufacturing wages are characteristic of areas where a large proportion of workers are employed in home office and research centers in the chemical industry. Delaware's labor force is well-educated with low rates of illiteracy. Further, 82.7% of the population has completed high school, compared to 81.7% for the nation.
