Division of Unemployment Insurance The Division of Unemployment Insurance assists employers by providing information on the amount of "unemployment insurance tax" to be paid, the opportunity to submit information to facilitate the prompt and proper payment of "unemployment insurance benefits" to eligible individuals, and an appeal process to contest the payment of "unemployment insurance benefits" to those individual's employers believe are not entitled to such benefits.
