Delaware Commission for Women (DCW) The DCW provides information, leadership and advocacy on social issues to help improve quality of life for Delaware families. The commission is uniquely empowered by law to advise the Governor and General Assembly on issues impacting women and families. In an advisory and leadership capacity, the office serves as counsel, event planner and the basis for a network of women's organizations, businesses, professional, non-profit agencies, health organizations and other interested entities. The DCW advocates for the equality of women in ways that foster self-esteem and self-reliance among women of all ages, by promoting their political, economic, social, educational, personal and professional growth.
