  Labor Regulations

Wage payment

  • Wages must be paid at least once each month;
  • Employees must be paid all wages within seven (7) days from the close of each pay period (with some exceptions see Section 1102(d)); etc.

  • Work Permits are required for minors 14 to 17 years old.
  • The law restricts hours of work and prohibits employment in hazardous occupations.
