Mr. Ken Anderson is currently the Director, Entrepreneurial and Small Business Support for the Delaware Economic Development Office (DEDO), an Executive Management Office of Governor Jack Markell, responsible for entrepreneurialism and small business support for the State of Delaware. In that capacity, Ken is the central point for entrepreneurism and small business for the State of Delaware, created and chairs the Governor’s Entrepreneurial Business Conference, Delaware Small Business Summit for Minority and Women Owned Businesses, and the Base Realignment and Closure or BRAC Conferences. Ken also manages the Delaware Emerging Technology Center (DE ETC), a virtual incubator for Delaware entrepreneurs, innovators and small businesses. The ETC programs feature the ETC Boot Camp and Business Plan Competitions and the ETC Secrets of Success Seminars.		 Ken Anderson
During a 25 year professional career, Ken served as Executive Vice President of Wilmington based Goeins-Williams Associates, Inc., Chief Executive Officer of the The Ken Anderson Company, LLC, Divisional Vice President for Adesta Communications of Omaha Nebraska, and Assistant Vice President for Integrated Systems Analysts, Inc. of Arlington, VA.

Prior to his Corporate and business career, Ken served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United State’s Navy which included tours of duty as and Engineering Officer of the Watch, Navigator and Flag Aide and special ops assignments.

Ken is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD, and attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. He is a member of the Governor of Delaware Jack Markell’s Supplier Diversity Council, Finance Chairman of the Powder Mill District, Boy Scouts of America, DE-MAR-VA District, former Board Member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors, an Advisory Board member of the Delaware Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Advisory Board Member of the Kent County United Way of Delaware and a Member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Small Business Alliance Senior Advisory Council. Ken is also a Certified Lay Speaker for Centennial United Methodist Church in Smyrna, Delaware.

He is married to Dr. Devona Williams-Anderson and lives in Clayton, Delaware.
