The Delaware Department of Education (DOE) provides a variety of service in Adult Education to the community and to schools. Adult Education is responsible for instructional programs for adults (16 years of age and older) who are out of school. Technical assistance is given to programs that develop basic skills and provide instruction to allow adults to earn a high school diploma. The DOE website has information available about resources, services and information pertaining to the Department, the State Board of Education, and our public school system as a whole.

BIE is a state education program supported by the Delaware Department of Education. They are responsible for the recruitment and training of volunteers from the business/industry community to go into the classrooms and deliver career related information to students. BIE offers several different programs to achieve their mission like "What's My Line?", "Mystery Guest", "What in the World?!", "CHOICES", The BIE Annual Job Fair, Explore Engineering, and The Teacher Externship. Delaware SEED Scholarship Program

The Delaware SEED (Student Excellence Equals Degree) scholarship program provides tuition for full time students enrolled in an associate's degree program at Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC) or the Associate of Arts program at the University Of Delaware (UD). The program is for Delaware students who stay in school, work hard, and stay out of trouble.
